{"id":64,"date":"2015-08-08T14:59:56","date_gmt":"2015-08-08T14:59:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/catsforharper.ca\/?p=64"},"modified":"2015-08-08T14:59:56","modified_gmt":"2015-08-08T14:59:56","slug":"dishonest-ads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cats.vttoth.com\/?p=64","title":{"rendered":"Dishonest ads"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Under Mr. Harper&#8217;s watch, the Government of Canada spent several hundred million dollars on advertisements, much of which were fairly blatant pro-Conservative political ads <a href=\"http:\/\/democracywatch.ca\/campaigns\/harperads\/\">financed by the Canadian taxpayer<\/a>. And many of them are dishonest, too.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.v1.nationalnewswatch.com\/stephen_harper_isnt_a_good_role_model_for_combating_cyberbullying.htm\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-65\" src=\"http:\/\/catsforharper.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/harper_bully.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"479\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cats.vttoth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/harper_bully.jpg 640w, https:\/\/cats.vttoth.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/harper_bully-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Conservative campaign\u00a0ads that are even worse. A perfect recent example features liberal leader Justin Trudeau uttering the soundbite, &#8220;and the budget will balance itself&#8221;. This is supposedly a demonstration of the naivety of Mr. Trudeau, but what it really demonstrates is just how far Conservatives under Harper are willing to go with lies and deception.
